O násHow does the Screw conveyor work?
The Screw conveyor transports material from the hopper to the discharge point by means of a screw rotating around its axis. The screw is mounted in a special plastic bed, which is additionally profiled and shaped to ensure easy forward movement of the material and dewatering along the entire length of the conveyor. The conveyor stands out for its high degree of design variability. It can be positioned and adapted to different operating conditions. At municipal wastewater treatment plants, the conveyor is used primarily to transport screenings from screens or to convey dewatered sludge.
