Our customer, one of the largest paper mills in Malaysia producing recyclable food-grade and packaging paper, needed a solution that would remove fine fibers from wastewater coming from the production process.

The company also specializes in specialty paper production. The paper mill is located on Penang Island off the northwestern coast of the Malay Peninsula.

Type: 5FBO
Quantity: 1 pc
Qmax: 80 m3/h

Filter cloth: 20 μm, PES
Solids loading: 100 mg/l
Material: stainless steel AISI 304

Function
Removal of fine fibers from wastewater coming from the production process.
Since fine paper fibers make up a significant share of impurities in wastewater in the paper industry,
reducing their amount by a high percentage also significantly reduces pollution.
After treatment, the water returns back to the process and helps the user minimize energy
consumption. The equipment is low in water consumption because it uses already treated water
from the filtration process for washing.
