Our last version of compact Multifunctional devices serves as a mechanical stage of combined pre-treatment for small and large applications: separation of screenings, sand and heavy particles from the inflowing water and their further transport to containers. Can optionally be equipped with fat, oil and grease extraction.
Physical flotation is a process enabling the removal of a larger quantity of undissolved matter and fats from wastewater. Flotation is applied where any other method of filtration and sedimentation cannot be used. Thickening of excessive sludge in municipal wastewater treatment plants, purification of industrial wastewater, etc. represent typical examples of this.
The screens to be installed at the inlet of the wastewater plant are expected to perform the function such as to separate all solid particles of at least one dimension smaller than the width of screen bar spacing and to ensure the reliability of this function. For process reasons a small spacing between the bars is required (6 or 3 mm) and in practice two systems are used: with direct flow of wastewater from the sewer pipe to the grid and / or with a pumping pit, obviously it depends on the conditions of the customer and the shared solution.
The belt screens are intended for coarse pre-treatment of wastewater and transport of screenings. The main advantage of this system is high pre-treatment efficiency; transport of screenings from greater depths is possible; removal of objects of greater dimensions; greater construction tolerances are possible; lamellas are high-resistant to damage; very low operational costs.
Sand separation and washing
Sand separator is intended for separation of sand from waste water; suitable for municipal waste water treatment plants but also in industrial operations this system has some advantages such as the possibility to remove sand grains of 0.2 mm in size or bigger - its hydraulically balanced structure eliminates occurrence of short-circuit currents - integrated sand washing available.
