Belt screen for municipal, industrial, and aquaculture applications
- Municipal wastewater treatment plants – within pre-treatment for capturing larger solid particles and protecting downstream treatment stages,
- Pumping stations – for protection of technological equipment, especially pumps,
- Industrial operations (food industry, recycling lines, influent water intakes, recirculation operations, mechanical pre-treatment in industrial wastewater treatment plants) – for capturing larger impurities and increasing the efficiency of subsequent processes,
- Aquaculture and fish farms – for pre-treatment of water from surface sources from leaves, sticks, etc., or for protecting pumps and aeration equipment
Suitable use
- Where the inflow is loaded with coarse impurities (e.g. municipal screenings, branches, leaves, etc.)
- In operations with large flows and the need for robust, low-cost, and reliable pre-treatment
- In applications where sensitive downstream technologies need to be protected (e.g. aeration, mixers, flotation, microfiltration, etc.)
- Where automation makes it beneficial to reduce maintenance frequency, operator requirements, and operating costs associated with current manual cleaning of the technology

Smarter operation through innovation
In cooperation with partners, we develop solutions that reduce environmental impact – from energy-efficient components to digitalized operation and remote equipment monitoring.
Sustainability as a foundation
From design to operation, our technologies are created to save resources, energy, and space. This is not a trend – sustainability is a natural part of every piece of equipment we develop.
Our goal is to ensure clean water for future generations.

O násHow do Belt screens work?
Untreated water flows by gravity in the direction of the screen belt, which captures solid matter carried in the water that is larger than the installed opening. These screenings are then lifted above the water level by the screen belt to the screen head, from where they fall into the discharge chute. The screen bars are simultaneously cleaned by a sweeping brush and optionally by a spraying device. Cleaning of the screen belt is automatically started together with the belt drive. Operation of the belt can be controlled by a timer or by a standard-supplied level probe. A screw press or screw conveyor usually follows the screen discharge chute, or alternatively an integrated press fixed directly on the chute.
Clean water is no coincidence.
It is technology.
